Our Volunteers

Jon Knobloch foster dogs for us and initiates lots of intakes from around the state. (Being married to a board member requires this amount of dedication.)

Kristen Parker is one of long term helpers at Petco. She has been with us for years and we all value her as a volunteer and a person.

Here is June Pease modeling some of our new dog carriers. Paisley is a great model too!

Maddie Lafferty is a SD4D volunteer and foster home. She is at Petco with us on Saturdays to help with the dogs and the potential adopters.

Bob Dicus and his wife, Nina, foster for us. They especially like yorkies and took Milly as their first foster dog.

Kerstin Brune fosters dogs for us. She and her dog, Grant, started with Mr Magoo.

Jack and Mary Boyer were foster failures with Charlie, a westie. However, they have continued to support organization.

Barbara Slepecky is a new volunteer and she loves all the dogs. She is thinking about fostering after the holidays but needs her cat's okay first.

"The girls from Kirkwood High School" come out and help us with the dogs when we are at Petco and we appreciate it!
